Yolo County Library celebrates Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros in April! This event is celebrated at all 8 branches, and the attached flyer has all of the days/times listed. The Library is also doing a Library BINGO program for adults at all of our branches. Participants can pick up a BINGO card at any location and complete a row of activities for an entry into a grand prize drawing. Belongingness Can Protect Against Impact of Trauma, Study Suggests
A new study, published in the Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment, investigates the effects of belongingness on adult mental health, outcomes of childhood trauma, and risky alcohol use. The latest adverse childhood experiences survey from the California Department of Public Health shows that 42% of the population has an ACE score of 3 or higher; 16% have an ACE score of 4 or higher.
