In this interactive presentation, Dr. Corey Waller, Principal at Health Management Associates and Board Certified Addictionologist and ED physician, will offer an overview of the neuroscience of addiction that explains the brain-based nature of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder, and how to overcome stigma and other barriers to implementation of treatment.
