Yolo County meetings set to explore mental health options [Woodland Daily Democrat]

A series of meetings have been schedule to explore future mental health programs in Yolo County.

The purpose of the gathering is to present and receive feedback from the community regarding proposes programs and services funded by the Mental Health Services Act, according to Yolo County spokeswoman Beth Gabor.

“Ultimately, these programs will be included in Yolo County’s MHSA Three-Year Program and Expenditure Plan for Fiscal Years 2017-2020,” Gabor stated. “All interested parties are encouraged to attend and provide feedback to help Yolo County strengthen the programs and services provided and proposed.”

All three meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 11, at the following times and locations:

•West Sacramento from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at 500 Jefferson St., Community Room, Building A

•Woodland from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Health and Human Services Agency/Bauer Building at 137 N. Cottonwood St.

•Esparto from 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the RISE Inc. Community Room, 17317 Fremont St.

Spanish and Russian translation services will be provided if a request is made (no later than Jan. 9) via e-mail to MSHA@yolocounty.org or by phone message to 666-8537. Be sure to indicate which language translation is needed and which meeting the person in need of the service is planning to attend.
