The Be the One webinar will present research and action steps designed to engage community members, agencies, and leaders in trauma/healing and resilience focused work. The overall goal is to present information that will assist agencies, leaders, and community members in building safer, more stable, more nurturing relationships and stronger, healthier communities. This is foundational work and can serve as a base for engaging in broader, deeper discussions on structural, historic, and institutional trauma and the creation of healing within our communities. Lucy Morse Roberts of Family Hui and Natalie Audage of Yolo County Children’s Alliance will present this webinar!

  • Breathe Easier: Reduce Stress, Raise Relaxation and Serve your Clients Better on 6/2

10am-11:30am on Tuesday, June 2

This 90-minute experiential webinar will introduce and guide participants through practices to reduce stress and raise relaxation, both for themselves and their clients during these extraordinary times. Mindfulness techniques, breathing exercises, guided imagery and other strategies will be taught to help providers, along with the parents/caregivers and children they serve, to cope with the heightened anxieties and uncertainties we are all now facing. This webinar will focus on offering direct practice opportunities during the webinar, to find calm in the moment.
