The Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) Berkshires presents a free webinar to learn from America Lopez, Immigrant Family Liaison for Berkshire Hills School District, and Ilana Steinhauer, Executive Director for VIM Berkshires, about lessons learned from supporting immigrant families in achieving school success. Together, they will unpack the story of how the school district and the community health center collaborated to make the school a safe and welcoming environment for immigrant families. You will also hear how they were able to address attendance issues through a collaborative approach.
