Objectives for the initial 2-day TF-CBT training:

Learn about TF-CBT as an evidence-based model to treat children exposed to trauma
Learn how to implement the TF-CBT PRACTICE skills (Psychoeducation and Parenting Skills, Relaxation, Affect Expression and Modulation, Cognitive Coping and Processing, Trauma Narrative Development and Processing, In Vivo Mastery of Trauma Reminders, Conjoint Child-Parent Sessions, and Enhancing Future Safety and Development)
Identify cultural and developmental factors that influence treatment
Identify symptoms of secondary traumatic stress (STS) and strategies to address STS.
