Driving Out Stress: Overcoming Compassion Fatigue With Professional Resiliency on 8/13

Join Dr. Roderick Logan in an intensive one-day experiential training from Arizona Trauma Institute for organizational leaders and employees to reduce stress and compassion fatigue in the workplace. This course serves to counter the impact stress and body arousal has on workplace communications and relationships. This training is also intended to improve current compassion fatigue symptoms that participants may be experiencing. The day includes didactic information, experiential processing, and transformative techniques that assists leaders and employees in resolving symptoms of compassion fatigue while, at once, developing resiliency skills and practices that prevent compassion fatigue symptoms in the future.

Champions for Change: Leading a Backbone Organization for Collective Impact on 9/15-17

Come join the Collective Impact Forum on Sept. 15-17, 2020 for a three-day online workshop. A strong backbone team - staff dedicated to guiding a cross-sector group of stakeholders toward a common goal - is a critical component of collective impact. This workshop- designed specifically for those in the beginning/early stages of their collective impact work, will dive into the different roles that the backbone team can take within their initiative, including how to best support communities and move forward during these current times of crisis and change.

Online Advanced Motivational Interviewing (MI) Training on 10/16 and 10/23

This module/workshop from The Compassionate Ear is designed for individuals who previously completed an introductory MI training and practiced MI in an applied setting. Participants will be guided to strengthened and practice foundational communication skills in MI and receive feedback. This workshop will include various learning styles exercises progressing from intermediate to advanced level skills to cultivate change talk and identify how MI “fits” in their own area of work.


 Flourishing in Adolescence: A Virtual Workshop (available online)

The Forum for Children’s Well-Being hosted a one-day virtual workshop on Flourishing in Adolescence. The virtual workshop was held on May 5, 2020, and included discussions about best practices in providing and supporting adolescent health services and key messaging and communication strategies related to adolescent mental, emotional, and behavioral health. Additionally, the workshop featured a panel of youth representatives who shared their own experiences related to mental, emotional, and behavioral health. The workshop videos and presentations are now available.
