State COVID Testing Site in West Sac Extended to July 25th

Due to the popularity and use of the testing site, the no-cost Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) testing site in West Sacramento, run by OptumServe in conjunction with the State of California, will be extended to Saturday, July 25.

Testing in West Sacramento is by appointment only, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., by calling: (888) 634-1123 or completing an online application at:https://lhi.care/covidtesting. Usually, appointment slots are available by week and open the Thursday before. The testing site is at Club West, located 1125 Riverbank Road in West Sacramento. Testing is open to anyone in the community regardless of documentation status. If residents do not have health insurance, the cost of the test will be covered by the state. If residents have health insurance, their provider will be billed with no out of pocket cost. This is not antibody testing; this is to test if individuals currently have COVID-19. Children under the age of 12 will not be tested at this location due to health and safety reasons. Residents must wear a face covering to their appointment and practice social distancing. This location is not a drive-thru so residents will need to park their car and walk a short distance to the building. OptumServe will be able to test up to 135 people a day with test results available within 48 to 72 hours.
