The consequences of system racism and inequalities are experienced at the individual, community, societal, and institutional levels. They impact short- and long-term health outcomes throughout the entire lifespan, contribute to inter-generational trauma, and disrupt and harm families. While overwhelming to address, change is possible and individuals, organizations, and systems can contribute to meaningful progress. - California Evidence Based Clearinghouse (CEBC) hosted a webinar on race and equity in child serving systems; a handout summarizing the webinar with additional resources is also provided
- Child Welfare Information Gateway released an issue brief about racial disproportionality and disparity in child welfare, including the role of prevention and early intervention in addressing these issues
- Safe House Alliance has a toolkit for nonprofits and other community-based organizations for building a multi-ethnic, inclusive and antiracist organization
- Strategies 2.0 issued a Knowledge to Action Brief explaining equity in health outcomes based on the Social Determinants of Health
