Opportunity to meet leader of cutting-edge, trauma-informed online high school!

Meet Dr. Christine Kasitz, leader of a FREE on-line trauma-informed school. Dr.  Kasitz, is the superintendent of Mission Academy and will be in the Sacramento area all day Thursday, January 16th and in the morning on Friday, January 17th.

Dr. Kasiz is interested in meeting with folks that work with high-needs youth who have disengaged and dropped out of public education. My colleague Dana Brown says that Mission Academy is a cutting-edge, trauma-informed online high school that supports the "forgotten of the forgotten" who are at such high risk of the prison pipeline, complex traumas, etc.

San Diego Mission Academy is a public, year-round school that enrolls students throughout San Diego County and its adjacent counties, 11-24 years of age, and provides them with personalized learning plans, one-on-one attention, flexibility, and job skills training so that they may earn their high school diploma. All staff is Trauma-Informed, and all teachers are highly qualified. We have extended evening hours each weekday until 8 pm and provide support on Saturdays too.

Please see the attached printable flyer and contact Dana Brown dbrown@acesconnection.com or Gail Kennedy gkennedy@acesconnection.com / 530-400-3211 if you'd like more information.
