The State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD) is proud to invite you to the community premier of Let’s Work!. This documentary premiered this month at the San Diego International Film Festival as part of NDEAM and we are proud to bring it to you, our community partners. This is a documentary about 8 young people with IDD and their experiences and successes in competitive integrated employment. Now is your chance to see the 45 minute film and join the movie’s Director Joey Travolta and stars for a panel discussion. This premier is free, we have capacity for 1,000 viewers, and would be thrilled if you can join us. Please feel free to share this invitation with your members and anyone else interested in competitive integrated employment.
- Targeted audience: This screening is open to the public, including self-advocates, family advocates, employers, and anyone that may be interested in watching the documentary and being part of the employment discussion.
