EVENT: Yolo Under the Rainbow (YOUR) Night! LGBTQIA+ Teen Group

Yolo Under the Rainbow, CommuniCare’s LGBTQI+ youth group is excited to celebrate Pride month! In 2019, The Family Wellness Center began hosting our first LGBTQI+ group in September. The group started as a physical drop-in for youth across Yolo County as a safe space to meet friends, allies and to find support, as well as celebrate who they are! Since that time, the group has served 22 youth, ages 12-17, between September 2019 and March 2020. Our space is decorated with great Pride flags, artwork created by youth, and is setup for youth to hang out, watch movies, converse, and enjoy some snacks. Recently, the group switched to virtual meetings and it will continue to be offered throughout the Summer. For a group meeting invite, please contact 530.662.2211 or youthbh@communicarehc.org.
