According to kidsdata.org, developed by Lucille Packard Hospital, the number one diagnosis for hospital discharges for children in CA is mental disease and disorders. What is going on with our youth when 13.4% of all hospital discharges for children are classified as mental disease and disorder? The next closest is asthma at 7.8%.
