Bad news-good news: Each additional ACE increases opioid relapse rate by 17%; each ACE-informed treatment visit reduces it by 2%
Each additional type of adverse childhood experience increases a person’s risk of relapse during medication-assisted opioid treatment by a whopping 17 percent. Babies Need Mothers by Dr Clancy McKenzie. I spent an hour searching for this with Google and found nothing. How young was the youngest of the 2300 children that were separated at the US border? I will start with the local PHD and hopefully they can direct me to who I would need to talk to at the state level which I assume would be the capital in lansing but our behavioral risk study is conducted by the university of michigan. So i don't know how to connect them. But thanks. I will get to work on it. Oh and I am referring to a state ACEs group.

Two changes: MSTIC stands for the Multi-System Trauma-Informed Collaborative (not Care) DOH funds one ACEs Consultant. Clarification: The ACEs Public Private Initiative (RCW 70.305.005) ended at the end of 2017. The legislation is still in place, but the initiative has ended. The 2018 update to the legislative was that the Department of Early Learning no longer exists. It will be part of the new Department of Children, Youth and Families beginning July 1, 2018.
