It is designed to improve physicians’, psychiatrists’, therapists’, and other healthcare professionals’ understanding of the connection between childhood trauma and physical and mental health outcomes.

At the conclusion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
∙ Describe the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACES).
∙ Discuss the association between childhood trauma and physical and mental health.
∙ Describe the impact of childhood trauma on child development and the parent-child relationship.
