Pathways to Resilience: Dispelling the Baggage of Adverse Childhood Experiences

This will be the second ACES Community Educational Forum sponsored by SDBHA; our first was in 2016. This session has been entitled Pathways to Resilience: Dispelling the Baggage of Adverse Childhood Experiences

This forum is an outgrowth of the Men’s Health Project, a San Diego Black Health Associates (SDBHA) initiative that has sought to address information, reshape attitudes and stimulate changes in behavior as a result of interacting with our programs.  We met Dr. Vince Felitti and the research team from the Centers for Disease Control and prevention several years ago. His presentation at our conference last year was a stunning success. We were encouraged to continue with this effort.
