"Emotional Poverty" Training: Learn strategies to support child emotional health

 

Emotional Poverty training will teach First 5 Solano grantees, community partners and Solano County departments working with children strategies and best practices to help:

  • Reduce episodes of emotional explosions, anxiety, anger, and violence.
  • Create a safer space by emotionally triaging the children.
  • Promote a better understanding of the adults’ stages of development and contribution to the emotional safety and noise.
  • Engage in better strategies that calm children and motivate better behaviors.

Who should attend? This training is intended for people who work in Solano County whose work impacts children 0-5 and their families.

This one day virtual training will be offered on the following dates:

Time: 8:30am-3:30pm
