We are an online collaborative dedicated to raising awareness about ACEs, trauma-informed practice, and resilience-building in the greater Phoenix area. Given the unique history of this city and region, Phoenix Rising will explore personal and historical sources of trauma.

Artificial Intelligence in the African American Community

Artificial Intelligence is one of the fastest growing sectors that is growing within the career industry. Specifically within the African American community, and the career industries of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This particular sector is becoming more and more visible in our daily lives, and will continue to provide future growth in various industrial and commercial industries. AI is an uprising technology tool that provides essential measures for African Americans to apply for high industry positions, enter the workforce with the skills and data needed to complete specific jobs tasks, and lead within the industry by working at much smarter paces. AI attributes to African Americans having more access to quality healthcare costs, along with greater access to quality healthcare physicians and specialty services. AI has recently been a driving force in separating racial biases in healthcare. According to the National Institute for Healthcare Management (2021), this article explains the basis of quality healthcare services between various ethnicities, and how future developments in the healthcare and technology industry are continuing to improve patient care. AI is a rising industry; however, continuing to create willing and helpful collaborations between various career disciplines to establish great opportunities for African Americans is significant. We must move toward change for the better. Collaboration for quality care.
