I would like to have Strength Based Trauma Informed Leadership Programs included in the resources guide. We are leading the way on integrating trauma informed practices in existing community programs. One example of an intervention we have spearheaded are interactive coping skill cards for children in after school programs. Hi, Alyson, I am looking to spread information that is relevant to all groups to other groups. I think this would be great for the Michigan page. We need to understand that there is a lot of sexual abuse of young girls and boys in all communities rural or urban and I would like to share with our group members how all forms of abuse eventually lead to very negative outcomes. And we have so many rural places with empty billboards (i.e. there is just a white sheet on them --- I am wondering anyone got a creative idea of approaching these folks and seeing if they would allow someone to put a similar message on them --- maybe take it off their taxes???). The best email address I can find on their website appears to be: info@instituteforsafefamilies.org The Research and Evaluation Group at Public Health Management Corporation may have the data itself, but I'm not sure if they can release it without approval from Safe Families.
