ACE Screening as Part of Routine Medical Practice?

Featured on our "Latest from Philadelphia" page is an article from Dr. Jeffrey Brenner of the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers suggesting that ACE screening should be a routine part of medical practice. Elizabeth Prewitt, a member of ACEs Connection Philadelphia, also wrote a blog on the subject. Both articles can be found by clicking here.

If you are a member of this group, you probably agree with Dr. Brenner that ACE scores should "become a vital sign, as important as height, weight, and blood pressure." How far off are we from this becoming a reality and what are the obstacles standing in the way?
