Hello Everyone! I was introduced to the ACEs connection this year while living in Rochester on my post-doc. I can hardly wait to graduate this summer from WMU's Counseling Psychology Program. I have a family member who is otherwise a kind and good citizen who has a bipolar diagnosis and history of childhood trauma as well as being a veteran with cancer. He had possession of guns and was not allowed to and during a manic episode this fall concerned friends and family continually went to the police who did what they could but finally had a reason to search the home for a missing gun from a family members home.
