Hi Linda, Thank you for sharing about your DC4.org program and congratulations on the 10 anniversary of this wonderful program. I will do a little researching today on faith based trauma informed programs and how other faith based groups have been successful with getting other churches to learn about trauma and maybe even implementing a program of their own. I would like to share a great resource for churches/faith communities to become trauma responsive. First United Methodist Church is in Central Minnesota have been working for three years to become a trauma responsive church. They would say they are not the experts in any way although they have stepped out on faith both within their congregation and throughout the community. Their website has become an example and resource for many please check it out.
