Briefing on Welcoming Movement and Welcoming Congregations -Stephanie Kreps: What is a ‘Welcoming Congregation’ and what specific things can congregations do to be welcoming and to reach outside the congregation to those who are in need but feel excluded?
Briefing on Campaign to Change Direction -Dr. Barbara VanDahlen: The Campaign to Change Direction is a collection of concerned citizens, nonprofit leaders, and leaders from the private sector who have come together to create a new story in America about mental health, mental illness, and wellness.
Community Problem Solving and Support – All: This is our Community’s opportunity to have discussion about current happenings and allow people to ask the groups advice, share learned wisdom (even when it comes from failure) and give support, comfort, and hope.
Please note, our meeting will take place through the Adobe Connect Software Conferencing. This will allow you to view presentations, take part in the survey, view who are the other participants on the call, and communicate with each other if desired. This will also allow us to record our meetings for those of you who may be unable to attend on Wednesday, or if you would like to share with others.
