COVID-19 and Boys and Men of Color, Their Families and Communities: A Spotlight on Health Disparities

Join advocates on the front lines and philanthropy for an in-depth look at how leaders are working to mitigate health disparities during COVID-19 and are addressing the systemic racism that has led to the harrowing inequities our communities are experiencing.

This video call will be an opportunity to deepen understanding of current conditions facing boys and men of color and their families, and how leaders across the state are responding. Speakers will address emerging issues, such as calls for data transparency to track the disparate impact of COVID-19, and the policy demands to hold policymakers and systems accountable well after this pandemic has passed. Funders will hear about immediate and long-term opportunities to take action.

The video call is part of the COVID-19 webinar series organized by California Funders for Boys and Men of Color, a network of CEOs from the state’s leading philanthropic institutions, and Alliance for Boys and Men of Color, a national network of more than 200 organizations and leaders. This call is sponsored by Executives’ Alliance for Boys and Men of Color, which works to make philanthropy’s investments in boys and men of color more strategic and impactful.
