I'm glad you found Donna Nakazawa's book useful. I'll copy your note to send her. Another good book is "Scared Sick" by Karr-Morse. You can check it out on Amazon. Of course, the book I'm waiting for is the one Jane Stevens is writing on the ACE Study and the long-term effects of childhood adversity. Not only has she become impressively knowledgeable but Jane is a superbly engaging writer. There is not yet enough information on the comparative effectiveness of various treatment approaches to...

I'd like to suggest a book I wrote. Winner of the Children's Literary Classics gold medal 2016. The King of Average. Audiobook read by the author too. Author Gary Schwartz has crafted a brilliant read for middle-grade audiences. Replete with witty phrases and loads of powerful symbolism, The King of Average is not your average ho-hum read. This book has incredible depth with a delightfully engaging plot, threads of humor throughout, and a resounding underlying message that is truly inspired.

The film "Quest–The truth always rises" is not available online yet. Santiago is working really hard to get it into theaters and schools and prisons. If anyone wants to connect with him, I can help make that happen. If you google Quest, another movie shows up, so he said to always put in "Quest–The truth always rises." I would love to help him get it seen by folks who are working with ACEs and trauma informed care. Thank you for asking. Rona

Rona, Is this film created from a book? Once the film has a platform of 10,000 people... it can most likely go anywhere and become anything... just like books. If not already in the works, I would encourage the producer to have a launch party, inviting 1000+ trauma informed coaches, therapists and educators to opt in for reduced price viewing. Education is the often the first step toward significant change, so I would also encourage creating an online educational course or masterclass...
