Arizona ACE Consortium's annual ACE summit next week

More than 200 people will gather in the studios of the local PBS station in Phoenix next Tuesday to attend "Creating Safe Environments -- Advocacy, Prevention, and Support for Children in Arizona". And, if you're not one of those 200, it will also be live-streamed. Check out the site to register.
The conference includes keynote presentations by ACE Study co-founder Dr. Vincent Felitti, parenting intervention expert Dr. Ron Prinz, and Dr. Dennis Embry, expert on children's brain development and no- or low-cost childhood adversity prevention strategies. He'll review the status of children's welfare in Arizona.

Breakout sessions will be led by recognized experts in children’s welfare, psychology, education, public health media campaigns, and health.

Following the presentation of the latest research findings, the focus will turn to the solutions presented by evidence-based public health strategies and an effort to mobilize new public-private partnerships and identify new sources of funding to benefit all Arizona families.

If you haven't checked out the events section of ACEsConnection lately, there are more than 80 upcoming events scheduled.
