Hi there -- I'm posting here on Ped community at the suggestion of a colleague who says this may be best way to find an adult primary care doc at Kaiser. I'm a passionate advocate for ACEs awareness, and a high-ACE-score kid who writes about childhood trauma. Valid ACE screener and Research

Hello! I'm looking for research on the validity of the ACE screening tool or a modified ACE screener to use in our clinic. Also, we are wanting to screen all adult patients and then eventually want to start with pediatric patients. Regarding pediatrics, are there any data supporting a specific methodology? For instance, we were thinking of having parents complete it for birth to 11 and then having 12 to 17 year olds complete their own. Any research and/or thoughts on this is greatly...

The review process for the revision of our Whole Child Assessment (WCA) is taking a little longer than ideal. Version 2 is for age 0-20 years with the parent completing for age 0-12. We also have validation data that we are currently preparing for publication. I hope to have version 2 available via email or website by October 1.
