Cumulative childhood risk is associated with a new measure of chronic inflammation in adulthood [The Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry]
The CDC/Kaiser Permanente landmark ACEs study showed a dose-dependent association between ACEs and health outcomes in adulthood. In this study of 837 patients, researchers examined the association between childhood predictors, including higher ACE scores, with levels of inflammation in adulthood. New Alaska ACEs data reinforces importance of investment in early childhood
