The Magic of Everyday Moments Video Series (Zero to Three)

How do you help parents and students of child development understand how they can best help young children thrive? Seeing is believing!

Parents today know how important their children’s early experiences are in shaping how they learn, how they relate to others, and the kind of person they become. And parents want tools that actually show how they can have the greatest, most positive impact on their developing child. That’s where ZERO TO THREE’s new resource, The Magic of Everyday Moments: Seeing Is Believing, comes in. This series of videos shows how parents can nurture all the key skills and attributes children need to be eager, competent learners, and to form strong, healthy relationships—all through everyday routines.

“Parents are telling us that they feel a lot of pressure to be a ‘perfect’ parent, and that sometimes it feels more like a job than a joy,” says Claire Lerner, co-developer of the series with ZERO TO THREE colleague Rebecca Parlakian. “This new Magic series tackles this challenge by showing what ‘positive parenting’ looks like and how it emerges through everyday moments with babies and toddlers. It’s the ordinary that’s extraordinary.”

The first series released includes:

  • Brain Wonders: Nurturing Healthy Brain Development From Birth
  • Literacy Skills: The Roots of Reading
  • Power of Play: Building Skills While Having Fun
  • Temperament: What Makes Your Child Tick

Set of 4 Videos that can be shared with parents.
