A few years ago our school decided it was important to set up resources to allow our mostly teaching oriented faculty to have an opportunity to do research to "seed" the procurement of external funding. The project are under $10,000. My first grant was ~$7,500 and I used it on ACEs and Community Resilience. I also used it to learn from experts in Washington State. The second grant I am a partner on.
