Re: RESILIENCE ~ Community Film Screening & Discussion

Charles Sultzman ·
Hello Kelsey. I just joined ACEsconnection because I plan to coordinate the writing of a book on ACEs resilience. Some would say I have thrived despite seven ACEs. I am planning a book which would follow theformat of Alcoholics Anonymous' Big Book. You can read my posts on Ask the Community in search of writers. Unfortunately, i will not be able to attend your presentation of the documentary, "Resilience." Will the audience be primarily health professionals or will there also be many ACEs...

Hi Charles, Sorry I didn't see your comment until now! I am excited that you are writing a book about ACEs resilience and you sounds like such a great resource for Florida in this journey of waking up to the impact of ACEs. Registration opens tomorrow! https://valenciacollege.edu/st...e/annual-conference/ We also have another screening of resilience on...

Hello. I was planning to attend but it appears that there are only two people signed up. I was hoping to meet more ACEs survivors but it doesn't look like this would be the right place for that.(?)

Re: CRC: 2023 Common Read, Discussion Series (Session Two) on "The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind and Body in the Healing of Trauma"

JoEllen Revell ·
Good afternoon, If interested Victim Service Center of Central Florida could potentially be present during and after the book read series, to offer support/ info for anyone who may be impacted by the book the Body Keeps the Score. As the rape crisis center for the tri-county area, we would be happy to be there to provide information to those who need to be connected to crisis counseling or therapy support. Please let me know if this is something you would like VSC to assist with. Thank you.
