I am on the fringes of the community college. I work professionally with adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness. I have taught several continuing education classes at the community colleges in St. Louis. I have supported five young men 18-23 who have experienced trauma and have accessed the community college in varying degrees. One has an ACEs score of 3, one has a score of 4, two have scores of 7+. These young men have lived with me (on the side, not professionally) from 1-3 years as they were experiencing being unhomed, or a lack of needed supports. If I can help, let me know.
