Hi, I am a trained learning specialist with a degree in Psychology, and three Masters degrees : Teaching, Learning Disabilities, and Emotional/Behavioral Disorders or Social/Emotional Learning. I have been trained in TIC methods. After workin in the elementary school, high school, community college, and University setting, I also became a patient advocate. I sit on three patient/family advisory councils at three different hospitals in two states. Iā€™m looking into getting back into the workforce in a way I can use my training. I live just outside of Nashville, and am looking for suggestion for job titles, organizations, etc as to what best describes me and where I can work.  I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!

I'm not seeing anything in your post on what types of things you want to be doing. Direct client work? Advocacy? Teaching / training?

Can offer a generalized job hunting guide (linked below). Only touched on in that article, but very helpful, is the idea of informational interviews. Find people doing the kinds of things you envision yourself doing and ask them how they got where they are.

Your advisory councils might be good networking opportunities. There's a chance there's some folk from interesting organizations sitting on them with you.
