Hi Brittany, sorry for the late reply, busy week. I am in St. Louis and am the staff trainer for the St. Louis Arc here. I do the staff training for about 500 employees who support people with disabilities. I have also worked on the program end as an associate director for 180 staff supporting 45 people with extensive behavior and medical needs. I have also had seven young adults in my home in the past 6 years. Four have ACEs scores of 4-6, and two with scores of 8-9. It has been quite a journey. I have been speaking about trauma, and learning everyday. I have learned most of it through trail and error, and now the research is catching up.
