Inclusive Diabetes Care will be hosting a mini-conference on Sept 26, 2022. We are now accepting RFP for speakers to present on Women’s Reproductive Health: Connecting Health Equity and Diabetes Care. The presentation Becoming A Mother: Fostering resilience and restorative healing for all women is looking for a trauma-informed care trainer knowledgeable about maternal care issues. Here is the description of the desired presentation - When a woman transitions from being an individual to a mother, what emerges? This presentation will explore what women gain, lose and face when they become a mother and how this can have unintended consequences on overall diabetes care.
