Dad's Night Out is a monthly event, meant to encourage connectedness and comradery amongst dads, as well as offer a safe space to engage in activities with their children.
"According to David Cozart, director of the Lexington Leadership Foundation’s Fatherhood Initiative, a critical social factor influencing the health and well-being of children is their fathers. ...not only do fathers play a critical role in the healthy development of children, families and communities, they also play a crucial role in the prevention of child abuse."
These monthly events are sponsored by First 5 Yuba County, the Yuba County Office of Education, the Yuba County Child Abuse Prevention Council, and various other local agencies.
Registration is highly encouraged to ensure adequate supplies and food, but not required.
