Workshop April 6th - Building Resilience 2: Firmness Tools

Do your students over react to small things?
Do they struggle to regulate emotion?
Do they act younger than their age?
Many students have been exposed to trauma and as a result have difficulties in school. In this workshop you will:
Review and learn more of the brain science behind trauma informed practices.
Learn several tools for setting clear and respectful limits while maintaining connections with youth.
Practice the process of making effective agreements with youth.

Taking Building Resilience 1: Strategies to Engage Students Exposed to Trauma is recommended but not required before taking Building Resilience 2.

CEUS/Clock Hours: 0.3 CEUs are available for this workshop through Seattle Pacific University. The cost is $15. You must register for CEUs BEFORE the workshop. The link to register and pay for CEUs is included in the confirmation email you'll receive when you register for this workshop.
