Reimagining Resilience 1: Using a Trauma Lens online, Feb 8 & 15

Reimagining Resilience 2: Developing Firmness Tools online, March 3 & 10

We are all continuing to navigate the stress and impacts of the COVID pandemic. Our school systems and staff are maxed out. Just making it though the day is a lot! Youth-serving organizations and community partners are exhausted from meeting the needs of young people and families.

We appreciate you and will continue to show up as a partner. We are inviting you to join us for a chance to connect with community in our Reimagining Resilience series.  In these online sessions you will deepen your understanding of the impact of trauma on human brains (and this pandemic experience is trauma).

In Reimagining Resilience 1 (Feb 8 & 15) - Learn how you, as an adult who works with youth during the pandemic, can help them experience emotional safety. Especially when all of us are exhausted, and our own nervous systems are overwhelmed. (also offered March 8 & 15)

In Reimagining Resilience 2 (March 3 & 10) Build on your basic knowledge of trauma-informed practices and learn practical tools to hold young people accountable in a way that strengthens your relationship with them. We explore connected firmness with practical ideas you can try in your work right away.

Sign up for one or both. Some knowledge of trauma-informed practice is helpful for Reimagining Resilience 2.

Clock hours are available.

The program fee of $95 includes the cost includes pre-class videos, a course workbook, and connection to peers who share your interest in helping all kids thrive. After the workshop, participants will have access to the workshop recording for two months.
