Santa Rosa opens homeless encampment during COVID-19 (KTVU)

Already, the city has moved some people from its main homeless shelter into motels. The camp targets those on the streets. "I feel safe wherever I go, I honestly believe if the Lord wants me, he'll take me, " said James, 68, one of the first to arrive at the Finley Community Center. My friend is one of the people impacted by this, though she is fighting eviction. On top of all the other awfulness about this, is evictions taking place because of composting toilets in tiny homes. When in truth, composting toilets are a sustainable way to return our excrement to the living soil instead of wasting water dumping it into sewage.
