Seminar Overview

This year’s Seminar will be focused on resiliency information, practices, and resources. You’ll hear personal testimonials, the science behind resiliency building, as well as learn more about resources in our community for yourself and those you serve.

Continental breakfast and lunch are included in the ticket price.

 

Target Audience

Community members, parents, law enforcement staff, and service providers are encouraged to attend.

Training Objectives

 

Participants will be able to:

  1. Identify 3 factors contributing to resiliency.
  2. Articulate 2 emerging trends in gang identification and/or substance abuse.
  3. Explore 3 traps to avoid in addressing chronic crisis.

 

Gang Prevention Awareness Week

The Seminar is one of several activities planned for Gang Prevention Awareness Week. Gang Prevention Awareness Week is aimed at raising awareness about gangs and educating our community about the existing efforts to reduce and prevent youth violence. Other activities include:
