Social Media Campaign for

Trauma Awareness Month in May

Tomorrow is National Trauma Survivors Day

To recognize that May is National Trauma Awareness Month, the California Department of Public Health and the California Office of the Surgeon General—in partnership with ACEs Aware—have produced a social media campaign (#IamTraumaAware) to lift up trauma survivors and highlight resources for those who are experiencing trauma—due especially to the pandemic.

Click here for the #IamTraumaAware toolkit (with resources in English and Spanish). You'll find three video messages from California Surgeon General Dr. Nadine Burke Harris, along with social media messaging and images that can be used across your networks.
