San Francisco County ACEs Connection (CA)

This group seeks to: 1) Understand what we do, what we do well, and call upon each other to collaborate. 2) Create a healing space for folks to work together across sectors. 3) Create a structured way to lift up each other’s work, align resources, and prevent fragmentation. 4) Use technology to communicate differently and stop traumatizing already traumatized systems.

The Miss Kendra program highlighted in the film, Resilience, is part of the Animating Learning by Integrating and Validating Experience (ALIVE) program by the Post Traumatic Stress Center in New Haven, CT. The program uses drama therapy and other methods in order to help children process their emotions, get their needs met and become ready for learning.

Learn more about all of the elements of this amazing program, and the ways you can learn to bring this to your local schools, at their website (linked here). See short clip from their website below!
