Thank you for providing those tips. I know what bipolar disorder is, and for me, it has taken a lot of time to understand what I do wrong and what I have to change to be able to cope with it. And telling others "no" is one of the most helpful things because, for me, it was so hard to say no. I didn't want to make someone feel bad or think that I don't want to help, but after all, I chose myself, and now I know my boundaries and limits very well.
And also, from my experience and from all that others with bipolar disorder told me, I can say that each of us has different self-care tricks, and it proves how one disease can "work" differently for people.
I have a psychology course, and I love when we're talking about mental health issues because I have so many to say and share. And when we have to write something, I always include bipolar disorder. In two weeks, I needed to finish one more paper, and this time I started in advance to find more info. I came across one site one bipolar disorder essay samples, you can click to find them, and it was pretty interesting to read them. I always read something written by others because I like comparing that info to what I know from my own experience and feeling.
And also, I like talking with specialists because they always share something interesting. Sometimes I ask about different cases (without sharing any personal information, of course) because I have personal and professional interests. One day I want to write serious research on bipolar disorder, something bigger and more important than a uni paper, and be able to provide something really valuable.
