Kris Perry will be speaking to advocates participating at the 4CA Policymaker Education Day on May 1. Perry has been recently appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom as Deputy Secretary of the California Health and Human Services Agency for Early Childhood Development. Perry will also act as Senior Advisor to the Governor on Implementation of Early Childhood Development Initiatives. Read more about Perry's background in the Governor's Office press release.
Join us on May 1 to learn about the current policy landscape for efforts to reduce ACEs in California. In addition, you will receive training in talking points for educating policymakers and other decision makers about ACEs, treatment and prevention. You will also have the option to join prescheduled visits to legislators' offices in the afternoon. And of course, there will be a happy hour afterward to celebrate our important day's work!
When you register, you will receive location information and ongoing emails to keep you updated on logistics for PE Day. In the meantime, please check out our PE Prep Webinar, as well as preview the training materials.
