Check out this free online webinar course on trauma sensitive mindfulness awareness. It was developed with people in recovery in mind, but can be a useful tool to adapt for others struggling to heal from trauma.

Learning Objectives: As a result of participating in this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Understand the meaning and practice of "trauma-sensitive";
  • Identify the link between science and application of mindfulness-based skills relevant to long-term recovery; and
  • Practice at least 3 mindfulness-based exercises using a prepared script that is available to take home.

Who Should Attend: Addiction professionals, employee assistance professionals, social workers, mental health counselors, professional counselors, psychologists, and other helping professionals that are interested in learning about addiction-related matters.
