NAMI Family to Family FREE Online Education Series

NAMI Logo1 in 5 people live with a mental health condition such as anxiety, depressive disorders, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. These people, in turn, have family members who are also affected, as those family members and significant others try their best to help their loved ones. Fortunately, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) exists to help all concerned.

Founded in 1979, today NAMI is an alliance of more than 600 local affiliates who work in communities across the country to raise awareness and provide support and education. They do this through NAMI Connection, a support group for people with mental health conditions, and NAMI Family Support Group, a support group for family members, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. And they do this through a host of other help resources and trainings.

One such training is being offered by the NAMI affiliate, Volusia/Flagler/St. Johns. It is a FREE, 8-week Family-to-Family online education program, January 25 - March 15. Click here for details and sign-up information.
