HOPE – Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences – is a new way of seeing and talking about experiences that support children’s growth and development into healthy, resilient adults.

We are very excited to announce that First 5 Sacramento will be offering a presentation on Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE), conducted by Dr. Robert Sege from Tufts Medical Center.  As we continue to support trauma-informed practice in Sacramento County, we want to go beyond ACEs and focus on the positive childhood experiences that help to mitigate them.  As an added benefit to joining us on this virtual overview of HOPE, we will also assess interest for providing future sector-specific workshops and/or training of trainers.  See the attached document for more information about HOPE. We have unlimited space in this one-hour virtual presentation, so please join us!
