Many in Sacramento attended the Building A Trauma-Informed Nation webcast on September 29-30 to learn how they could move the conversation around ACEs and trauma into action.
Those that attended both days described the webcast as very informative and motivating. Many community connections were made.
The San Juan, Elk Grove, and Sacramento Unified School Districts were all active participants in the Trauma-Informed Approaches in Education Strategy Session and felt their district leaders were on board. Many are planning on attending the Beyond Violence Workshop on Oct 16 & 17. I witnessed their enthusiasm in making a change in young people's lives.
