ACES Connection posted upcoming webcast, "Building A Trauma-informed Nation:  Moving The Conversation Into Action" as its story of the week!  The Sacramento Minority Youth Violence Prevention Collective is pleased to announce our amplifier site locations for viewing the webcast, and engaging in strategic dialogue about how best to integrate our knowledge of trauma into our communities, law enforcement, education, and health care systems.

The United States is experiencing a public health crisis:  an epidemic of trauma, violence, and stress.  In response, efforts to create trauma-informed change are growing exponentially across the nation.  Recent research shows that certain mental and physical health disparities that affect schools, law enforcement, health care, and communities can sometimes be linked to childhood trauma.  Join the Sacramento Minority Youth Violence Prevention Collective to participate in the national dialogue and help catalyze local strategy for Sacramento.  Learn how communities are responding to trauma, and develop your own strategy to create change through one, or all four of our “Catalyst Sessions” Each webinar will be followed by an interactive discussion and strategic planning session among on site attendees.
