A Call to Continue the Work!

This week, the US Surgeon General issued an advisory entitled, "Protecting Youth Mental Health." This advisory offers insights into the mental health crisis our nation's youth are facing as well as providing recommendations on steps we all can take to improve their mental health. December Resilient Brunswick Task Force Meeting

Morgan King introduced the meeting and welcomed everyone. Kelly Purcell, a Community Resiliency Model trainer, shared a 15 minute skill practice where she taught about the Resilient Zone and 2 wellness skills from the model. Participants were able to share their "resources" and were invited to noticed sensations that were pleasant or neutral to their well-being.
